About the Author

Hi there! I am so glad you are here to follow me along my journey in medical school. My name is Kat Schneider and I am a third-year medical student at the University of Missouri – Kansas City’s 6-Year B.A./M.D. program. I am so excited to share my passion for medicine with the world as well as my personal experiences within the program. My primary motivation for starting my blog was to create a resource for future 6-year students that may feel worried, self-conscious, or confused about their place. I hope to offer worthwhile advice and share relatable experiences that will help put those unsettling emotions to rest.
